In order to qualify for leave to remain under Tier 1, Applicants must show that they have enough money to support themselves. The fund requirements are detailed below.
Inside the United Kingdom
- Main Applicant: £800
- Dependent Applicant : £533 for each family member
(if the main applicant has been living in the UK for more than 12 months) - Dependent Applicant : £1600 for each family member
(if the main applicant has been living in the UK for less than 12 months)
Outside the United Kingdom
- Main Applicant: £2800
- Dependent Applicant : £1600 for each family member
Note:
1. The above amount shouldn't have been dropped below for not even a single day in the last continuous 90 days before making an application.
2. For applications submitted outside the UK, all evidence must be dated no more than 7 days before the application is submitted.
3. For applications submitted inside the UK, all evidence must be dated no more than one month before the application is submitted.
